Blizzard 2009
Well it snowed. Shocking. Robbie and I got snowed in at our apartment so we made the best of it. Here are some pictures. My bestfriend Amber decided however to have a baby in the middle of the snow storm yesterday. Luckly she did get to the hospital in plenty of time and have a great delievery. She had a beautiful baby girl named Caraline Faith born at 3:51pm weighing in at 8lbs 8ozs, 20 1/2inches long! They are both doing great! Between the snow and Amber giving birth you would think that would be enough excitment for me for the weekend. But nope...Not me! So walking around this morning I decided to take pictures to send to our German family and see how pretty it is. Robbie was at our building shoveling out cars. So I got aroud the block back near our apartment, and I see a backhoe trying to clear a section of the street. As I walk by I notice water bubbling up. Ok I think theres a creek or something like it in this area, so I didnt think that much about it....Well a few seconds later its now bubbling up higher and the guy is now on the phone with the back hoe turned off. So I walk a few more feet down and there hear a noise. I turn to see water now shootup 60+feet into the air and the guy in and the back hoe is now hauling butt out of the area! OH MY GOD! So I start runinng back towards Robbie yelling for him. I get to him and tell him what I just saw. Robbie works for the water company in our county. He goes running with my cell phone calling work to get it called in. We get back there and the fire department is pulling up. They walked over to me asking if I called it in and asked me where the car was. I was like it wasnt a car, it was a backhoe. So the cops arrive! The officer comes over to me, thanks to the fire department guy, and starts questioning me. I pointed to the area where I saw the guy drive off to and the cop goes to find him. Great! Well it turns off the guy was going to get his boss up the street...who kows if thats true. The water company got there and turned the water all the way off. The backhoe took out the whole fire hydren (yea thats what it was) and blew out all the dirt around it. Nice! So the boss guy ends up coming back to the secne and asks the water guy what kind of price...$5,000-8,000 and that doesnt include the labor! Yea good luck buddy!

wow its been a while!
hey everyone!
it has been since my keys trip since ive written anything! wow! alot has happned in the past months.
robbbie and i are still house hunting. he did get a contract in on a house just to luckly have a homeowners inspection tell us about mold and possible pluming issues. wow! which we knew the owner was not going to fix. he basically bought a forcloser and covered up the problems to make it look pretty. which we almost feel for it. robbies bday was back in september. we didnt do anything real big this year in prepartion for the house. i took him to the rusty scuffer in baltimore city for dinner and then walked about the inner habour. october's big thing was heading to new portnews for robbie's college alumni homecoming and cook out. it was great to see his one professor that is from germany and show him some pictures from out trip. however while talking to one of his friends down there we found out that alot is going to happen at the end of the year with my favorite place busch gardens. we found out that the roller coaster that i grew up on, the big bad wolfe, was shut down. they were getting rid of it. since it has out lived its life. and that the horses were also leaving. we were staying down in va beach across from robbies friend dave. after much thinking, robbie was sweet enough to take me to busch gardens for the day and night. i got my picture taken with the horse one more time. i have about 25pictures through the years of me with them. i got to see the big bad wolfe one last time. the last day it ran was labor day weekend. it was a 4hr line to ride it. oh well. it will be missed. the park is going to stay open but it wont be the same with out that roller coaster and horses. we were thinking about getting seasons passes however now with all the changes are going to wait.
the family in germany is doing good. robbies and kikis dad has been on several walking trips. he is currently on another one for the changing of the leaves. robbies uncle was over here in dc for miltary business and robbie and kiki got to meet up with him for dinner. gernot also got to see kathy (their mom) for the first time in over 20yrs! robbie and i are still planning on going to germany next sept for octoberfest. im hoping that it will fall around robbies bday so we can be there for his bday with his german family.
i wonder what november and december holds for us! january is our anniversery. 2yrs!!! we are now living together full time. so thats progress. ok have to run and work on pictures! ttyl

The Keys News
hey everyone!
well here it is. the long awaited Keys trip blog. I'll try to make it short and sweet:
Friday July 31st: Robbie tried to find our flight while at work just to see if it was on time. He couldnt locate it or thought he had the wrong flight number. I said no it should be there but I wasnt sure of the flightnumber either. So we didnt think anymore about it. I get home from work and hear my mom yelling on the phone. She was on hold with some one and I asked her what was wrong. She said she got an email saying she could check us in, went to go do it and couldnt find the flight number. The flight got canceled 12hrs before departure! WTF! And American Airlines basically told her she was SOL. Um I dont think so. They told her it wasnt their fault that the plane has machincal issues and they arent getting another one to replace it. So we can leave on Saturday but at 3:00pm instead of 6:30am. Which means that now two days will be wasted. Leaving at 3:00 would but us hopefully in Key West by 10pm and hopefully we can still pick up our car. However the grocery stores down there close at 10 so that means sunday will be spend getting groceries and maybe getting the car incase ken and donna would have to pick us up if we dont get the car that night. GREAT! The offered Dullus instead but that would be 30mins later. What intellegece was that! So at 11pm friday night Dave (a friend of Robbies) txted him telling Robbie to tell me about the Passenger Bill of Rights. HEHE!! And here we go! So I get on the phone to American Airlines and start up. They tell me now that the reason for the flight to be canceled was weather. Wow they can predicate the weather 12hrs a head of time. LIARS! I told her shes lieing and to try again. All the while I was online looking for flights. I found a Contiential flight that leaves BWI at 630am to Ohio to Tampa to Key West. Lets do that. She tells me she cant bc they arent partners with American. Ok so whos problem is that. Not mine. She tells me she can refund the tickets and I can purchase the Contiential ones. Yea No. Not happening bc those tickets are 1300.00 for the three of us bc we would be last minute flyers. Try again. So I told her about the Bill. She then stumped and had to go get her supervisor. HEEHEHE. Then she tried to get out of doing saying she couldnt find the flight. Then after another 30mins of argueing with her the flight magically appeared. It is now 12:45am. She goes and calls Contiential and comes back on the phone with me saying its going to take awhile and she would have to call me back. Yea nice try. I finally agreed after getting her name, title, extension number, work ID, and told her she had 1hr. Or else I would be calling back. So while Robbie and Mom slept, I read New Moon and waited for the phone call. 1:45am the phone rings. Amazingly that it did and that I got our flights booked! I woke up Robbie and Mom and told them we have a 6:30am flight and we needed to leave at 4am for the airport. They both being asleep and not quit awake were shocked. We get to the airport, check in, dont pay for a check bagged. Granted we were sitting together for the flights. Robbi and I did from Ohio to Tampa. We got to the keys around 3pm which was the time our American flight would have left from BWI. Great. Got the car, groceries and headed to the house!
The rest of the week was a piece of cake! Robbie went snorkling for the first time the next day and got a little sea sick. Some rough water the first day. But he was fine the rest of the week. We spend a day down in Key West. We went to the Southern most point, light house, Duvall Street, and on a sunset booz cruise! Robbie got to see the 7mile bridge also. We had a few times of quick showers. One shower did cancel our trip to the Gulf of Mexico (they call it the back country). We were trying to go for two days, but we did get to go at least one day. It was really cool. To get there you have to maintain a certain speed on a boat so that you plane out bc if you dont, you can get stuck bc its so shallow and you dont ever look down into the water if youre driving. So you basically need to cost over the water. It was really neat! I got to show Robbie what it looked like to see 17 feet down in water! He did see a shark at one point which scared him! :) I went surface diving a few times. Mom caught lobsters! We saw losts of fish and two that we havent ever seen before. We got to see a big Jud Fish which must weighs more the 75pds! That was really weird. He looks like he belonged in Jurasic Park. We also attended Lobster Fest 2009 downtown. Duvall street is the oldest street in Key West and also has most of the bars. Next year I plan to do the Duvall Bar Street Crawl! :) It was hard laying out on a boat and holding my beer at the same time. So needless to say I got a lovely tan. Robbie had a good time and him and mom got along great. I did ended up getting an ear infection once we got home. I guess you arent spost to dive 17feet then get on a plane. Robbie doesnt think the first flight (which was unfort American Airlines) was presurized correctly. So I have been battling an ear infection in both ears for week!
Coming home with that airline wasnt fun either. After asking how we could bring lobster and shrimp home, the stupid airline said we could bring it on the flight and we could pack it in dry ice. So when we checked in, the ticket agent asked if we were checking anything else like the cooler I had with the other two bags we already checked. We had no problem getting through Security. They actually laughed when they looked inside and said have a great flight. We go to get on the plane, mom was going to carry on the cooler with her camera bag. As we go to walk out the gate agent asked what was in the cooler. We told him seafood. He then asked what was keeping it cold. Ummm Dry ice idiot. He says we cant take it on the plane, that it was a hazerdous material! WTF! I said your stupid ass people on the phone told us we could pack it and bring it on like this! He said nope unless you fill out paper work and pay $40.00 for it! Mom tells me and Robbie to get on the plane and she would be on. So as we sit and watch others board my mom hasnt gotten on yet. The last person getts on and they are getting ready to "seal" the plane. I start panicking bc she has our boarding passes from Miami to BWI for one and two I know shes really upset. She does make the plane and tells me that they had brought down the ticket agent to see if she asked us what was in the cooler. Mom said that the agent saw the cooler but never asked about it only if we were checking it and that it went through TSA fine! They told her no their problem. Great! So we get to BWI and we pick up our bags to find out that my moms duffel bag is ruined. The wheel is broken off and around the where its spost to be was riped opend. When she went to go cocmplain to the airline in the airport they told her that it wasnt their responsiblity about the bag and being damaged. That the passengers understand that if the bag is damaged that its not the airlines faught. YEA RIGHT! So now mom is fighting with them about those two things and the whole lieing in the beginging about the flight. DO NOT FLY AMERICAN AIRLINES!
So all in all minus the flight BS, we had a great time. We did get rain and it did make it alittle difficult to see underswater some days. But other days it was crystal clear blue water! We went to one place that Ken goes diving its 22feet deep and when we looked out on it from the boat you could see all the way down! Now that is real water! You could even see people when they dived in to it. It was awsome! Next I would love to take Robbie on a cruise! I think he would enjoy it. So now its back to the grind of work and stuff. I am back to job interviewing and house hunting with Robbie.
Well have to get ready to head to Bmore. Pictues are up on facebook on my site and will be up on snapfish soon. :)

atlanta stories!!!
hello everyone!!!
this past thursday robbie and i headed to atlanta. he has a seminar/class for computers during the week and we decided to go down earlier so i can go with him and see the sights. about two years ago i was down in atlanta to vist min when she lived there that year. so i saw alot of stuff but it was all new to robbie and it ment a day off of work for me! so we had a 7:30pm flight. Which got us down there arou 9:15ishy. We got the bag we checked and jumped on the Marta (their version of metro). After about 40mins on that we had to get off and get on another line that would take us to the stop near our hotel. It is now Midnight. We got off of the Marta and started walking 1.5miles to our hotel. Yes we walked at Midnight. The reason is bc the shuttel stoped runing at 10pm. Well the suitcase rolls and we took turns pulling it and carrying his laptop. So at 1:45am we get there and get the key.Which doesnt work and meaning Robbie had to go back down and get it reprogrammed. Im now tire, hot, sweaty, and hungry! Needless to say I did kind of bite Robbies head off a few times before finally going to sleep.
We woke up the next morning to some noise and decided to go to the Coca-Cola Museum. So we ate breakfast and headed down to the Marta to get down town. I had been to the old Coca-Cola Museum and was eager to see if the new one was just as good. They hurd you around like cattle in the begining part of it and its a maze through the rest. They didnt have that much stuff they had in the original one. I found out that they only brought 5% of the memobria with them to the new one. Well that sucks! So we headed back to the hotel since we were still tire. We took a nap and woke up around 7ish. To some more noise. We oredered pizza and watched TV in the room. Well at 10:45 we were getting ready for bed and the noise outside our door was so loud. We found out that there were two huge family reuions in the hotel that weekend. So Robbie looks out the peep hole and see a bunch of people just standing in the hallway talking. So I called down to the front desk and complain. In a few mins it died down. Then started up again. Ok enough! its 11pm at night and Im dead tire! So we get dressed and head down to the front desk. I explained to the lady, Daloris, about what was going on and she said she sent someone up and then they started up again. She then said let me see if she could move me. Well they couldnt find anywhere in the hotel since they were all over the place. Except the VIP floor! Sweet you need a special key to get up here. And best part PEACE AND QUIET! Plus Daloris gave us four coupons to get breakfast free. Nice! So we got a peaceful night sleep and ready to get up early the head to the aquirium.
So the next morning we went to go see the Whale Sharks! And they are sooooooooooooooo cute! I'm glad we got there early bc it was getting packed when we were in there and when we left. We headed back to the hotel and then went to see Harry Potter 5 and then to PF Changs (dont hate amberly) for dinner. After dinner Robbie called the hotel for the shuttel so we wouldnt have to walk back. The guy said he would be right over which would take about 5mins. Well after 15mins Robbie got a phone call from the guy apologizing and said he was on his way and would explain later. Ok no problem. So he got there and we headed back. He said he was on his way to get us but the people in the reuion kept getting in the van to have him take them to the liquir store! Great they are getting drunk! But we are on the VIP floor and they arent up there!
So the next morning is Sunday and we get up,eat and Robbie had to switch rooms to another suite bc of some snobby person who always getts in the room we were in. Ok no problem. The hotel staff was awsome. We get another ride to the Marta since we were spending the day dowtown before heading to the airport for me. While Wendy was driving us she said she was sorry about the stay for me and all the noise. Turns out that the first night the famlies were there, they were smoking pot in the room. Great! Then we found out thanks to her that they trashed the pool area the second night and the lobby. That they had broken glasses all over the place, stole towels, blankets, and trashed a few rooms! Needless to say they were not happy to see me go but wished it was those other people. But Robbie getts a suite out of it with out the price. He even getts into the Club room in the hotel. Score!
We got to the airport about 3hrs before my flight. After me crying alittle good bye and getting through security, I went to my gate and waited. Becasue I only carried on my camera bag, I didnt have a book or anything to do to entertain me before and during the flight. Robbie headed back to the hotel so I talked to him for a while. Then I went on hunt for some kind of book. I ended up buying the first book in the Twilight series. Thanks to Em, Amber, and Min I decided to give it a shot. Which was great. We got on the plane just to find out, by talking to the two flight attendents, that the back bathroom was out of order again (it was broke coming to ga), and that my reading light was also broke. Score! Packed flight btw. There was one open seat but it was still day light enough for me to read by the window's light. I ran out of light about 8mins before I landed so it was good. Then got off of the plane and had perfect timing with Torey (Kikis boyfriend) to grab me from the airport and take me to the apartment.
So all and all it was a fun weekend. We leave in a little over a week for the Flordia Keys! Which will be nice to have a long vacation. Robbie is alittle bored down there with out me. The hotel isnt that close to anything and he does walk to class and to get dinner. I cant wait to see him. He comes home on Friday and Im getting him from the airport and then making him dinner. Probably going to chill for the rest of the weekend.

Well at 10:45 we were getting ready for bed and the noise outside our door was so loud. We found out that there were two huge family reuions in the hotel that weekend. So Robbie looks out the peep hole and see a bunch of people just standing in the hallway talking. So I called down to the front desk and complain. In a few mins it died down. Then started up again. Ok enough! its 11pm at night and Im dead tire! So we get dressed and head down to the front desk. I explained to the lady, Daloris, about what was going on and she said she sent someone up and then they started up again. She then said let me see if she could move me. Well they couldnt find anywhere in the hotel since they were all over the place. Except the VIP floor! Sweet you need a special key to get up here. And best part PEACE AND QUIET! Plus Daloris gave us four coupons to get breakfast free. Nice! So we got a peaceful night sleep and ready to get up early the head to the aquirium.
So the next morning we went to go see the Whale Sharks! And they are sooooooooooooooo cute! I'm glad we got there early bc it was getting packed when we were in there and when we left. We headed back to the hotel and then went to see Harry Potter 5 and then to PF Changs (dont hate amberly) for dinner. After dinner Robbie called the hotel for the shuttel so we wouldnt have to walk back. The guy said he would be right over which would take about 5mins. Well after 15mins Robbie got a phone call from the guy apologizing and said he was on his way and would explain later. Ok no problem. So he got there and we headed back. He said he was on his way to get us but the people in the reuion kept getting in the van to have him take them to the liquir store! Great they are getting drunk! But we are on the VIP floor and they arent up there!
So the next morning is Sunday and we get up,eat and Robbie had to switch rooms to another suite bc of some snobby person who always getts in the room we were in. Ok no problem. The hotel staff was awsome. We get another ride to the Marta since we were spending the day dowtown before heading to the airport for me. While Wendy was driving us she said she was sorry about the stay for me and all the noise. Turns out that the first night the famlies were there, they were smoking pot in the room. Great! Then we found out thanks to her that they trashed the pool area the second night and the lobby. That they had broken glasses all over the place, stole towels, blankets, and trashed a few rooms! Needless to say they were not happy to see me go but wished it was those other people. But Robbie getts a suite out of it with out the price. He even getts into the Club room in the hotel. Score!
We got to the airport about 3hrs before my flight. After me crying alittle good bye and getting through security, I went to my gate and waited. Becasue I only carried on my camera bag, I didnt have a book or anything to do to entertain me before and during the flight. Robbie headed back to the hotel so I talked to him for a while. Then I went on hunt for some kind of book. I ended up buying the first book in the Twilight series. Thanks to Em, Amber, and Min I decided to give it a shot. Which was great. We got on the plane just to find out, by talking to the two flight attendents, that the back bathroom was out of order again (it was broke coming to ga), and that my reading light was also broke. Score! Packed flight btw. There was one open seat but it was still day light enough for me to read by the window's light. I ran out of light about 8mins before I landed so it was good. Then got off of the plane and had perfect timing with Torey (Kikis boyfriend) to grab me from the airport and take me to the apartment.
So all and all it was a fun weekend. We leave in a little over a week for the Flordia Keys! Which will be nice to have a long vacation. Robbie is alittle bored down there with out me. The hotel isnt that close to anything and he does walk to class and to get dinner. I cant wait to see him. He comes home on Friday and Im getting him from the airport and then making him dinner. Probably going to chill for the rest of the weekend.

end of the weekend posting
hello everyone!!!
well lets see where to start....saturday robbie and i woke up at 2:30am to get ready for robbies first crabbing trip with my mom and me. we were out of the house and on the road by 3am! on the water and out to our spot by 4am! yes it is very dark out there. but thats what head lamps are for. we laid out 30 crab traps with bait in them and on the second trap robbie caught the first crab! it was awsome. new maryland laws forbids social crabbers like me to keep female crabs. the reason is to eventually hope bring the crab population up. the size of the crabs have changed also. all this is fine by mom and me. shes been crabbing since she was younger and she started taking me around the age of 4 and i would love to do that with my children (if i ever get the chance to have them. thats another post later on). we caught a bussel of crabs by 10am. would have been more or finished earlier if we could keep the females. headed back to the boat ramp to head home. after we got home and got settled, robbie and i grabbed showers and got dressed for my boss' babyshower/bbq at her house. which was back in herdon va. so yea. hung out there for two hours and robbie got to meet my bosses and one of the drs i work for. then head back to the apartment where at 730pm robbie crashed. lol i didnt get to bed till 11pm. go figure.
sunday we woke up and had a lazy morning and then headed back to my moms for crabs. after steaming some and prepping the other ones for hard fries, i checked my banking account and say that amazon.com had taken $79.00 out! WTF! so i call them and ofcourse get someone who doesnt speak english and ask them why they took it out. appearntly two months ago when i ordered two books i signed up for a membership. i told them i didnt and they said yea i did bc when i checked out i didnt uncheck a box offering a free trial membership for two months then i would be charged. ummmm yea ok. didnt see that box....and if i didnt check it, why would you all be sneeky like that? so they said the offer me a refund however it woul be 3-4days for them to do it and then another 3-5business days for my bank to repost it. UGH! not going to work. so amazon tells me to call my bank and have them do something about it. so i called wachovia,and explained the situation to them. they said they couldnt do anything with out a written letter saying that it was the merchants mistake and then they would take the check card hold off of my account and delete it. UGH! so i call amazon back and again get someone who doesnt speak english and tell them to fax the letter over to the bank, yea i have a persons name and fax number direct to him at wachovia. they tell me they cant do it, bc the billing department is closed. ok give me a manager. so the manager getts onto the phone and tells me he cant send me a letter or the bank bc they have no way. but he can email it to me and says, "then mam you can print it out and fax it yourself." WTF! now my temper is beyond words. yea i have a printer and fax machine in my house just sitting around waiting! dumbass. i said well why cant you. he says he cant bc he doesnt have the equitment. are you telling me in the whole office building you are in that you dont have a printer and fax machine but think i do in my house! so they sent me the email. big whoopie! so back to wachovia i go. i get the same guy i had before and tell him. he calls amazon with me on the line and talks to them. they said that they put a rush on my account. so the wachovia guy tells me after we get off the phone with them that he would check my account and make sure by wednesday that everything was back to normal. he even agreed that it was messed up on how they trick you into that. and suggested that i call the better business bureo. which i plan to do tomorrow. i will never buy anything from amazon ever again and have started to spread the word about it.
this thursday robbie and i leave for a weekend in atlanta. then after i come back on sunday, robbie stays down for a class for the rest of the week. then we leave august 1st for our real vacation to the flordia keys! yeppie!!!!!

DEBT FREE!!!
ok so lets start at the begining.....
about 8yrs ago i had a really good friend named kathy. kathys family was pretty i would say poor. they had hardly any money and at that time i had no debt. so i would help her family out with stuff and everything. until one day kathy decided that i wasnt helping enough and helped herself to my credit card that was a $6,000.00 limit. by the time she was done and i realized it, the bill was $7,500.00!!!!!! when i took her to court with a lawyer with charges of idenity theft, plus she bought two brand new dell computer using my credit score and ss# and other stuff, the judge ruled that she had a right to it because she said it was out of charity. that since i had helped her family out many times before this that i did this also for her. so after two whole months of her paying about $600.00 total (not including intrest since it was over the limit as it was), she stoped paying. and left me with the bill. isnt that nice! so at that point i had two options: 1) declare bankrupce or 2) go into debt consoludation. which ment giving up my other credit cards, which at this point i was falling behind on payments bc of the stupid big one she messed up. so i decided to become debt free. i went into debt consoludation and worked towards paying off all the credit cards. as of last month June 16th 2009, THEY WERE ALL PAID OFF!!!! i was so excited. my cedit score has gone up and its imporving. i however have learned a lesson. one is that i will never lend alot of money to anyone if anyone...and that i no longer have a credit card. i have a debt card and thats all i use. sure i still have a cellphone bill but thats no problem. i now will be saving my ass off for robbie and mine future. he was so excited that i had done it all by myself and never asked for help to pay off the bill.
so i just thought i would say the great news. i do want to start saving however for a new car. my car hit 100,000miles last week and it kind of got me worried. granted i have an acura and its in great condition according to my mecanic. but still. i want to be able to get a svu soon and want to be able to pay for it all in cash or put a big down payment on it since robbie and i will mostly likely have a house at that point and other bills.
so thats it! thought i would share!

ready for a three day weekend
good summery evening!
just decided to share a quick post. work is the same...i have done my probation time. so thats over and done with. but no health insurance. appearntly according to the guy who handles their account i cant be added on till open enrollment in august. which is a bunch of bs. needless to say as of today my two supervisors havent heard from him. im spost to get insurance as of july 1st. grrr. but it might not be till august 1st. which as long as i have it before we leave for the keys ill be happy.
speaking of vacations, this weekend kicks off robbie and mine mini vacations! lol. orignally we wer spost to be gone in august for 8days to the keys. then he got excepted to a work class in atalanta, so we decided to go down the 17th of july (his class is 7/20-7/24) and have a romantic get away. since we havent been away since luray and the keys seems so far away! well then we found out that we are both off july 3rd. ok so three day weekend...great! philadelphia here we come. we leave the morning of the 3rd early and will be back sunday night. its really funny. and we arent paying for hotels. we are using points and eating cheap. i have all but a few dollars left to pay off the keys trip. i told robbie i would pay for the airline, car, and house since hes buying a house. well at least trying to.
congrads to kat! she had a beautiful baby boy this past friday!!! yay! this past weekend was really busy for us. saturday we headed from my house to middleburg for robbies grandmothers bday. everyone was there minus kiki. we talked about her trip and i got to meet one of robbies aunts, sarahlee, who i havent got to met yet. she was a bunch of laughs and tons of fun! robbies mom and grandmother seemed happy to see me and were smiling more towards me that ive seen or felt since we started dating. which is good. and i hope to continue to build a relationship with them. sunday we had the linganore winefestival. my highschool friend kat (yes another one. i have one more acutally!) came with her boyfriend for two hours, and one of my godaunt and uncles came also. we hung out with both couples. started with kat and her man then ended with aunt robyn and uncle eddie. hearing my aunt and uncle say how much they miss my real uncle (bryans father/my moms brother) really ment alot to me, but i do see how much eddie misses him. they were really close. all my goduncles are related (close family friends to my family) and they all grew up together. so when my uncle marc died it hit his buddies, my uncles, really hard. and ive heard a few times how its hard to look at me since i look so much like him. bryan looks more like mom. but as uncle eddie said on sunday how proud marc would be of me.
kiki is still doing good.and is meeting up with somoene else this week i think and leaving the two guys shes been riding with. the new person wants to take their time and take pictures. the two she has been riding with has seen everything and appearntly wants to get to ca asap. it is what it is. shes safe and happy and healthy and thats all that matters.
well im going to run. my thoart is killing me from shouting over the music from the festival on sunday.

Quicky Post
Hey Everyone!!!!
Finally real weather has arrived! I hate the winter and love the summer! Robbie and I have been outside when ever possible pending rain of course. This past weekend, Saturday got cancelled. I did manage to get my nails done, however his mother cancelled for us to go to Middleburg to do computer stuff for her. With the rain it was ok bc that means Roamie (her dog) would have been Frogging for me. Yuck. So we headed back to the apartment and chilled. We didnt go to the evening winefestival either bc people either cancelled or didnt call to say there were or werent going. Whatever. So we had Noodle soup and a bottle of wine! Awsome. Sunday was a laid back day. We slept in and then headed to Mt.Vernon for the day. Never been there. We got to see the Mansison and road the boat. Which was the Spirit of Mt. Vernon. The suprise about the boat, was that was the boat that Robbie and I had our first date on! I was so happy when I realized it. And a thought passed through my blonde head....did he plan this.....could a question be poped on the boat. But nope. We then walked around and finally headed to the Manision, where we waited 1hr and 45mins to get into. By the time we left we had to get a refund on our tickets to go the Mill down the road. Oh well. I dont know if we will go back since on the way down past the "Mixing Bowl" we almost got into an accident. Appearntly in VA you are spost to make a lane out of the shoulder to get to the exit that is still .6miles away. Meaning someone did it, then when the exit lane came about someone else almost creamed us (not happening thanks to Robbie's quick thinking), Robbie honked his horn and flicked the lights. As we got off the ramp onto the road the guy pulled up next to us, and flicked us off. Which in turn with my anger problem did the same and called him names that I wont be posting here. He then tried to spit into my open window. There are just no words. I hate Va drivers so much! I swear. Robbie is the only VA driver I know who actually has some kind of sense!
We are back to house hunting. Robbie either got out bidded or was ignored for one house. The selling realtor wouldnt return our realtor's phone calls. So tomorrow hopefully Robbie will go see a few houses and maybe put offers on a few short sales or one that is a normal sale. At this point, I realized that I might not get my 3-4bed 2-3bath house. I do know that whatever we get we will have to put some sweat equality in it. I'm ready to do that. It might be kind of fun doing it with the man I plan to live with for the rest of my life. But seriously how many of you can see me doing manual labor. IE: laying hardwood floors, painting, building a staircase down from a deck, or laying a new patio. Trust me there will be pictures! Robbie has faith in me. I always have my mom and god uncles to help too.
Kiki is still biking across the USA. She's doing good. She is now biking in the early moring (4am) till around 10am since she is now in Kanass and its getting hotter. In Germany I found out today via email that Petra (Robbie's stepmom) had a canceris thing removed from her body in May. She had cancer a few years ago and beat. She told me its nothing to be concerned about and that they got it all out and will have a check up in three months to make sure. It saddens me that they are all the way over there and we can't be there for them. I really bonded with her over and love her to death! I hope she pulls through this and is cancer free and able to except us into the house next fall. I dont want to go over there if she is weak from theorpy (again we dont know yet if she's going to have to go through radation and all that) and she having to cook and everything like she did while we were there for Christmas. She took such good care of us! So please keep her in your prayers.
Robbie and I are going to be out of town every other weekend for the next month!!! It just worked out like that. The 4th of July weekend we will be in Philadephia, Pa. Two weeks later July 16th we will be in Atlanta (I come home Sunday while Robbie stays down there for his class. He comes home that Friday night). Then August 1st we leave for the Keys for 8days!!! So far after that we dont have anywhere to go. But hopefully that means we will have a house to work on and to move into.
Ok thats it for tonight. I have to finish packing since I leave VA tomorrow and be back in MD tomorrow night.

I dont want to go over there if she is weak from theorpy (again we dont know yet if she's going to have to go through radation and all that) and she having to cook and everything like she did while we were there for Christmas. She took such good care of us! So please keep her in your prayers.
Robbie and I are going to be out of town every other weekend for the next month!!! It just worked out like that. The 4th of July weekend we will be in Philadephia, Pa. Two weeks later July 16th we will be in Atlanta (I come home Sunday while Robbie stays down there for his class. He comes home that Friday night). Then August 1st we leave for the Keys for 8days!!! So far after that we dont have anywhere to go. But hopefully that means we will have a house to work on and to move into.
Ok thats it for tonight. I have to finish packing since I leave VA tomorrow and be back in MD tomorrow night.

havent updated in a while....
good evening everyone.
well its friday!!!! yah!!!!!! time to roll out the weekend. robbie and i are heading to middleburg tomorrow for a few hours to take something to his mom then going to an evening wine festival. still up in the air of who is going. but its all good. then sunday we plan to lay by the pool. hopefully it will be warm enough.
well on to the house thing. we lost both houses. one we were the 2nd offer to be considerd. however the one that we really wanted we didnt even get a chance. our realtor submitted our offer then never heard again from the selling agent. after three weeks, our realtor finally looked on a website that they can only access and saw that it was sold. our realtor called and emailed almost every day to see where our offer was and never heard from the selling realtor. wtf! so we are now back to looking again. its getting to be crunch time bc rates are starting to go up and also prices. its getting alittle nerve racking. we were hoping to know something by atlanta on july 17th or at the latest august before we leave for the keys. so keep us in your prayers that we find something.
work is the same. they did change my hours to 8:30-5:30. which doesnt make a difference in the traffic. i do get some time in the evening when i get home, and dont feel as through ive lost the whole day. i do have my head hunter in va still looking for me. i went on one interview last week and we were sure i was going to get the job, but then a girl who had tempted there before literally came in at the last minute and stole the job from me. whatever. it is what it is. and i guess i should be thanking my lucky stars that at least i have a job.
so heres the real news. as many of you all know that a few weeks ago the infumise john and stef crossed the final line with me. after the whole thing that they stood me and robbie up after waiting for them for 4hrs to have dinner with them. so lastnight i told robbie that i think he should call john. i know robbie missed his friend and was upset about it. and that if john didnt answer his phone or call back that we would put it in the past. so robbie left a voicemail and we went out side on our balcony and had some wine. well there was a knock at the door about 30mins later and john was there. so being polite i invited him in and even offered him a glass of my wine. after talking for a few robbie had to use the bath room which left me and john by our selves. he then tells me that his gf brenda and stef want to speak to me about the voicemail that i had left thah night on johns phone. it was basicaly that i told him what he did was rude and ive kept my mouth shut long enough. if you know me i can sound very harsh and can get down right nasty when im pissed off beyond words. when john said that i said oh really how about an apology for calling me a whore at out back. he laughs. wtf! he said that no body said that and i must have misheard something. lucky at that time robbie came back. and john left shortly after. then later today john called robbie and the two of them talked some more. robbie told him that he (robbie) was very upset about the whole four hour thing and stuff. and that robbie was really upset that they did what they did. john said that they had no intentions of doing that and that they were going to invite us to see a movie that night but after my voice mail decided not to. so once i got home today robbie told me what they talked about. and said that maybe i should be a bigger person and aplogize for the way i came across on the voice mail. that i should explain why i was upset with them. i said oh well john says now that they never called me a whore that maybe i miss understood something. robbie said that maybe i should tell john and stef that the reasons im mad. and not just asume that everyone knows what upsets me. ok well lets see i know damn right well that they called me a whore (i really need to get a tape recorder), two john was a jackass at dinner another night insulting all kinds of people. for one thing you can say stuff in public and not know who is listening and if they dont like what they hear, something could happen once you leave that place. anywho after debating it, i agreed to go over and aplogize just for my tone on the vm. however not for the reason behind it. and that robbie would tell them what has upseted me. i figured that it would be better he talk then me. so i grabbed a bottle of wine (some good faith kind of thing) and we headed over to their apartment. after knocking and waiting for a minute, no answer. so robbie called john and invited him to go to coldstone with us. needless to say its 10:30pm while im blogging and no call back. another part of my agreement with robbie is that if this ever happens again either next week or months or years down the road, i am allowed to speak my mind, probably worse then what i have done, and never allow them around us. i still cant believe that john had the nerve to say to me that one his gf and stef want to speak to me about the vm. ok that vm was for john, i never said their names in it. and then for him to say i miss understood what they said. that no one ever called me a whore. nice try i know what i heard and why in the hell would i lie about that kind of stuff! as far as im concerned im done with these people. if i have to hang out with them or see them im was raised to be polite to people. so we shall see what happens.

rainy day update
hello everyone
just thought i type a quick blogg before robbie and i head out on this rainy afternoon. house hunting is going. robbie has put an offer on two houses which are short sales. but we are still looking. on one of the houses that robbie put an offer on, the selling agent faxed our realtor an addemdum on the house. it basically says that since its a short sale, if there are tendents that are living there and paying rent (that arent the actual owners) it would be robbies responsiblity to help them find housing, not allowed to kick them out when we close, we have to give them 90day notice, and if they already paid rent in advance, then robbie has to refund it. WTF! yea ill get right on that! needless to say he didnt sign it. then those same people were spost to meet with their selling realtor to go over offers yesterday. they didnt show up. ok enough is enough! but we really want this house. it has a garage and it is an end unit. the other house is the second one in but it is in the original neighborhood that we liked when i was let go by hopkins. so its a toss up.
today is a nice day (minus rain). i left work at 1:30 this afternoon since i need a break. and robbie came home early also. we are just chilling right now and then getting ready to meet a met up group thing at one of the local pubs. tomorrow we head to mt. vernon for a while then have a evening wine festival. sunday is a chill day and maybe hit the driving range. im trying to learn to hit a golf ball. since john isnt talking to robbie.
which brings me to another thing. those two people down here john and stefanie are no longer speaking to me and robbie. after the whole whore thing, there were other rude things said by john and stefanie standing me up for a wine festival, last weekend was the last straw. last weekend robbie and i were spost to be in md for the weekend but when we decided to put an offer on a house, we headed to va to do it. after putting the offer in we stoped in leesburg to get gas. john called asking if we wanted to have dinner that night around 730 (mind you its only 330). after discussing it i told robbie ill give him one more chance but if he says anything rude or i dont like im not longer keeping my mouth shut. so robbie and i go to the driving range, and then home depot to look at stuff for a house. in the middle of looking at paint colors at 7pm, robbie getts a call from john. they arent going to dinner, they had been at a carnival all day and have been eating. GREAT! its not 7pm and we are starving. we leave home depot and on the way out ive decided that ive had enough of this bs. i call johns phone and get his vm. i tell him im sick of him treating robbie like trash and ive kept my mouth shut long enough and thats he a rude person. needles to say robbie was beyond mad. so we decided to grab something quick and head back to md. we havent heard from them since. so the reason im learning to play golf is bc john used to ask robbie to go play but hasnt. johns excuses have been the he didnt know if robbie was in va, or if he was busy, or if i was done. ummm last time i checked theres this thing called a phone...you use it to call people and ask them that kind of stuff. whatever. it will probably be another few weeks till im able to hit the ball some kind of distance before we head the real green.
this past monday i got the pleasure of dining with my bestfriend amber. we had steamed crabs since shes craving them. they were great, but really expensive. it was great to be able to go out with her and talk. get caught up on everything about both families and what we have been up to. im glad i have friends like amblery esp bc now i have a new friend kat up in ny! which is awsome esp when it comes to ganging up on amber! :)
so for now thats basically it here. CONGRADS TO BENNY AND JENNA!!! they got married last weekend! CONGRADS TO AMBERLY AND CHRIS!!!! they are pregnant again!!! this will be ambers fourth baby! more power to the sister!

luray blog!!!
hey everyone
first of all thanks to all the troops that fight to protect our freedom!!!!!!
ok well as many of you know i go to luray, va every memorial day weekend. last year was robbies first trip up there with me. and he loved it so much, he agreed to go back. well that and i think hank and wileys cooking helped alot!
we headed up there on saturday morning. we started from the begining of skyline drive in front royal. what was great! we spend the morning into early afternoon driving up skyline and stoping taking pictures of the beautilful mountains!!! i love them so much. then we headed down at the luray exit to check into pine hill b&b. it was like coming home when i saw hank and wiley! i was so excited to see them and learn that another repeat guests were there also! we checked in and changed clothes and headed to luray caverns for the rest of the afternoon. it was way over crowed. i found out from the boyz that they now have an auto tour instead of a tour guid. thinking that this will be ok we went. robbie droped me off at the door to get the tickets while he went on the hunt for a parking space. after standing in line for about 35mins we were handed the head set and headed down the stairs. i thought they would only let a certain number of people down at the time, but that wasnt the case. we slowly made out desent down and it just got worse. when we finally got to the bottom it was packed and was so hot. so we started listening to the tour on our head phones. which didnt go really well. you couldnt hear it over the noise of people and moving to keep up what was going on in your ear wasnt happening. with all the people down there, they werent moving that fast. after we got through the first refecting pool it did open up. however i remember being on the tour before and nobody touching anything. yea that doenst happen anymore. people touch everything down there now! which pissed me off even more bc i want my children to see it. we finally did get to see a "ranger" person at the catherderal part of the caverns. she said that people complained that they couldnt hear the tour guide, or the tour moved to fast, or it moved to slow. so the owners came up with this idea. i told her it was stupid and people touching stuff. and she agreed. she said that i could write a letter to the managers to complain. that works for me. after we left there we headed into dowtown luray to have dinner at one of the best mexican places in va!
sunday we woke up to the smells of a wonderful breakfast by hank and wiley! it was great to catch up with them and the other repeat couple ive stayed with there. we told the boyz that we would be doing the short version of white oak canyon falls. we headed to the starting point deciding to hike from the bottom up. get the hard part over with. so we stoped at the ranger station and told the wanna be park ranger (theres a reason i call him this) that we wanted to do the short way up to the falls. he told us go down the path and at the first maker make a left. ok great. so we start heading up. and see some smaller falls and everything. awsome! i cant wait to see the big one in about an hour (or more with my slow ass). we cross a river and keep walking. after over an hour we stoped and looked at the map and talked to another couple coming towards us. they told us the were heading down from the falls and then back up. they were doing the 8.6mile hike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOUVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME. WE WERE ON THAT WAY TOO! JUST OPPOSITE WAY OF THEM! at this point its to late really to turn around walk down, to walk back up on the other side to get to the falls. so onward we push. not knowing how much longer its going to be. great! at this point im not mad at robbie at all. since we both did what the wanna be ranger told us to do. so we get to the half way point. no idea what time it is. and ive been watching the sky through the trees. one to make sure it doesnt get dark on us and two the rain clouds that are hovering. as we walk down the mountain, it starts pouring down rain!!!! i have the back pack with the cameras in it and robbie has our back pack with our water bottles. and now we dont have any rain gear with us! im in a tang top and work out pants with socks and hiking boots. robbie is in a tee shirt and hiking shorts and his boots and socks. great! wet people!!!! so we continue figuring it will keep us warm (mind you we are up on a mountain on skyline drive!). so as we are walking, out of the corner of my eye i see something black. well there were plenty of people who bring their dogs up to go hiking. but this is bigger then a black lab. then i see a brown face. you got it: A BEAR! ok great. 7yrs going to luray and this is the second bear i see in 24hrs! i grab robbie and tell him. the bear is now about 50yards away staring at us. we start to walk slowly making noise and he starts to head down back in the woods. we walked a few more feet when robbie grabed me this time. the bear came back! GREAT! he kept watching us and we kept walking and making noise. finally he did leave with out coming out of the woods. we finally got to the falls after that. it was still raining but i was determined to get pictures! which i did. we didnt get back to the b&b till 8:45pm! we had left them at 10am that morning. the boyz were getting worried and we had yet to eat dinner. robbie showered and went to get us burgerking. i was so sore!
the next morning we told the other guests about our hike. bc they also were starting to get worried that we hadnt returned earlier the day before along with the boyz. they were all shocked. not only about the bear but the fact that i did an 8.6mile hike! we left the b&b that day and headed back to skyline drive. we decided that we would finish it and then head to middleburg to check on robbies grandfather. it did end up raining again while on the drive down to the other side. which was ok. we were just relaxing and had no intentions of getting out of the car and walking on any trails. mind you our legs arent doing that well.
so that was our trip to luray. i have next year already booked along with the other two repeat couples i usually stay with! i posted pictures on facebook and will be posting them on snapfish.com.

the next morning we told the other guests about our hike. bc they also were starting to get worried that we hadnt returned earlier the day before along with the boyz. they were all shocked. not only about the bear but the fact that i did an 8.6mile hike! we left the b&b that day and headed back to skyline drive. we decided that we would finish it and then head to middleburg to check on robbies grandfather. it did end up raining again while on the drive down to the other side. which was ok. we were just relaxing and had no intentions of getting out of the car and walking on any trails. mind you our legs arent doing that well.
so that was our trip to luray. i have next year already booked along with the other two repeat couples i usually stay with! i posted pictures on facebook and will be posting them on snapfish.com.

a mother's day posting
hey everyone!
well first of all HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO EVERY MOM OUT THERE! for my mom today ill be taking her out to brunch since she has plans tonight with her friends. with money tight for both of us thats all she wants she said. esp with me saving for a house.
house hunting is going ok. we have a house that we both like however its a fore-closure. which means it can take 60days to get a decision. well at least 60days. which kind of sucks. its a town house end unit which is nice. and looks great in it. there are people still living in it and it has been kept very well. its very weird going into houses while people are still living in them. for one its just seems rude to me. esp if they are being forced out. two you cant really picture your stuff in that house with all their stuff still there. esp if it isnt kept up and has four families living in it. which is something robbie and i have encountered a few times. we did see a single family home with a huge back yard for chase however the rooms arent that great. they are way to small and the master wouldnt hold even our queen size bed. so that means getting rid of the king i just bought. which isnt an option. so we continue. hopefully robbie can look a few houses before he leaves on thursday for louisville for his buddy's wedding.
then once he getts back that sunday we head to great falls va to say good bye to his sister for the summer. she leaves memorial day weekend for her trip across the USA! im so excited for her and cant wait to read updates and see pictures when she getts back.
the following weekend we head to luray to see my friends who own the b&b up there. we need to get away and luray will help us. we wont be talking about houses or money or jobs. we plan to hike for 7hrs to see some water falls up there and maybe head to a cavern for an afternoon. anything we do, it will be a relaxful weekend.

its finally spring in md!!!
well im not exactly in md. i came to va after work this past thursday. today i discovered VA wines. robbie and i spend part of the morning and afternoon in reston, va at the great wine and grape festival. it was really need and not over whelming. va has alot of winaries more then md. which can be overwelming to try each place and if they have 6wines to try. there was about 8winaries there and they had about 6 a piece. we didnt get to three of them bc of the heat and my knee still hurting. in two weeks will be wine in the woods in columbia which im going to even with robbie in kt. :( and then we go away for a long weekend in luray. which is something we both badly needed. then theres another va one that we are going to the following weekend in va. robbie is learning and being able to start tasting the difference in wines and how they are made and what is in them. which is great!
tomorrow we are heading to md to help my mom begin to put our back yard back together. to everyones disapointment (sorry amber) my mom decided with me moving in with robbie this summer (pending house of course), bryan being a wimp about sunlight, and my mom hating the heat, she decided to get the pool filled in. i havent seen how it looks yet but from what she has told me it looks different. she is taking some of the space where the pool was as a bigger garden. which is great. she needs a project. and it will give chase more area to run around when he goes up there to visit when he finally makes the transition to va. im going to take pictures of it tomorrow when we get there. we took the trees down around the pool also so it will open up the back yard. the only concern i have is that if im the one who has to end up selling the house (hopefully in the very far future) it might be a problem with the pool being buried and people wanting to put another one in. and it would have upped the price of the house with a pool. but oh well. i can kind of see my moms reason for wanting to fill it in. robbies apartment complex has a pool for the residents however my fear of germs doesnt let me get in it like i would mine. but theres always va beach and we are heading to the keys in august.
i have to admit with the days couting down till robbie leaves for a few days im getting alittle sad. granted i can look at it like a normal we dont see eachother for a week (like when i was at hopkins) but im staying at the apartment while hes gone. its 35mins in the morning to work and 45from work. plus i plan to have some of our neighbors over for a harry potter marathon. and stef, brenda, and michelle are all coming with me to columbia for wine in the woods. i know he is going want to call me and stuff but i just want him to be able to enjoy himself with his buddies. :) he does come home sunday morning and then we will be heading to great falls to say good bye to his sister for the summer. in keeping with the typical Holl German side of the family she is biking across the USA. lol like father like daughter. im excited for her and hope she is safe. please pray for her. for me kiki has become a good friend and one of the only sisters of a boyfriend i have gotten along with and cant wait to have her as a sister in law. i know she will make a great mom and an aswome auntie if robbie and i have kids. so yea i would like her to be safe.
ok have to get ready for heading to md tomorrow. i cant wait to see chase. also please pray that robbie and i survive this house hunting episode of our relationship. and that we find one soon. :)

its amazing
its simply amazing how long hopkins can screw someone over. even 4months after she left! ok so heres the deal. when you start a new job you are on probation period. which is usually 3months. ok fine. whatever. granted while at hopkins i wasnt planning to attend jeremy smiths wedding in may. so i didnt care after hopkins let me go. (ill explain in a few). but now that a college roommate who was spost to split the drive with robbie, all 18hrs each way, cancelled, now robbie has to fly down bc he doesnt want to do the drive himself. which i cant blame him. so now he has to buy airline tickets and rent a car! ok wtf! now if it hadnt been for hopkins termating me (again ill explain in a few) i would have no problem telling wanda...tough luck im going away for a few days. which i cant do with this job bc again on probation. yea my new bosses are pretty cool and stuff and probably would let me go but i dont want to chance it. esp since i already told them that ill be gone for a week in august. again i would be able to take off on the spur if i was still at hopkins.
so to the whole termination thing with them. so after battling with hopkins you think it would be all over. nope. i didnt get paid for my vacation. which i was told i would if i had quit. ok fine. i quit now give me the time you owe me. lmao. not happening. the hr in the practice put terminated. WHAT! ok i wasnt terminated i was forced to quit. QUIT being the word! so after some research she said oh my fault termination is just a general term. grrrrr so they finally paid it to me plus of course taxes taken out. for the love of god! is it ever going to go away?
as i said my new job is going well. the dr who owns the practice told my boss that im doing a great job and hes very impressed. :) ellie (my boss) said that he hardly says stuff like that and when he does its great! i smiled. and hope i can continue to keep up the good work.

omg its april!!!
hey everyone
well its april. work has been going good. they are happy with my progress. which is great. it takes me about 30mins from robbies each way and alittle over an hour from my moms. im dividing my time between va and md due to chase. i dont want to put him in a one bedroom apartment. so im coming home for a few nights a week to be with him. i hope robbie finds a house and wants me to move in with him so that i can have chase down there with me all the time.
this past weekend was very busy for us. saturday we went to the cherry blossom festival. yes in the wind! stef and her parents and grandmother joined us along with dave (robbies friend) from va beach. it was an awsome time and did get warmer as the day went on. as much as i love to see the trees now every year, i cant stand some people who are there. there are rules. for one no picking the blossoms. i must have seen a dozen people break this rule. the second rule is dont climb on the trees. i lost count of how many people broke this rule. it just pisses me off about this. these trees have been there for years and have survived storms, weather and other stuff. but then people go and hurt the new buds that are trying to bloom. i just want them to be around for my kids (pending if i ever get the chance to have any).
on sunday we went and picked up our new bed room funiture! im so excited. people have told me that a king size bed has saved their marriage (yes this would be women telling me) and i totally agree it willl with robbie and me.
this weekend is just a laid back easter weekend. saturday robbie is down for a while and then heading to VA bc he has dinner with his family down in Alexanderia VA. Saturday night i'm hanging out with Amberly. Sunday is laid back in my family for easter. so we will be going out to dinner somewhere then i head to va on wednesday after work.
ok have to go get ready to play in the rain!

first moving weekend....
hey everyone!
well my 29th bday is past. it was ok. i actually started my new job in bethesda on that day! which was ok i guess. robbie was off and at my house so he might have been alittle bored. my first week has gone very well. they are very happy with the progress that im making and how im getting a handle on everything. its just takes time to get there. about an hour from sykesville and 45mins from robbies. and going home is about the same. an hour and 19mins to syskesville and about 55mins to robbies. but if im happy i tell people who am i to complain about that? i listen to music and talk to friends on the phone. btw amberly when are you calling me back? :)
yesterday was day one of moving our new funiture into my moms house for storage. we got the dining room set from peggie. we had to do it in the mist that was going on but the houses are only about 15mins apart so it wasnt that bad. it all worked out well. next sunday is the bedroom set and maybe alittle bit of a living room. :) my mom is letting us store it all in her houses till we find a house. which is great and helps us not pay storage fees. so now its the house hunting part again. robbie is going to cut his lease by 6months tomorrow so that means we need to find, close, settle, and move in by sept 1st. it is do able. just trying to find what we want is hard now. once you found one that you were in love with and lost it, nothing else comes close. we def want a town house and it has to be a fenced in end unit for chase. we are going to stay in the sterling/reston area bc of me having to get onto 495 and robbie works off of rt 7. so tomorrow he will also be calling the nice realastate agent and seeing what she can come up with compared to what we found today on line. i plan to only move all this stuff one more time and including my stuff in my room and several toats that i have in basement full of stuff that people have given to me over the years.
this coming saturday we head to the cherry blossoms festival in DC! this is my second year going and im totally excited. dave, who is robbies friend from va beach, is heading down with us along with stefanie. i love going to dc bc theres always something new to see when you are down there and theres tons of museums to go to. in all my years of being there i have never gotten to go up the washington monument. grrrr....maybe we can get there this weekend to get tickets. if not im going to resort to buying them from AAA one weekend. its really annoying when people who dont even live in this country can walk up to the booth and ask for 25tickets! and im an american and cant even get one! and dave wants to go to the printing and engraving museum. thats where they make the money!
my birthday was pretty laid back. other then me working on it for the first time in like 7yrs! robbie got me a ring. no not THE ring. but one to match the birthstone necklace and earings i have. my mom got me a portable hard drive, my grandmother got me scrubs, chase got me a new snorkel set for the keys, min got me my nails done and a coffee maker, linda got me a foot masuager for work and a fish bowl for my desk, and bryan got me as usal nothing. whatever.
ok well got to get robbie ready to head to va. i go down on wednesday due to not being able to take chase down yet. ttyl

had to do it....
hey everyone!
well the days are winding down for min and marissa to go home. :( she doesnt want to go yet but needs to bc of her job and her sister in laws wedding is fast approaching. i havent seen her since wednessday so i could give her time to be with her mom the last few days that she is here. im going to miss them. but maybe next year theyll be here for a great reason....
which speaking of that......robbie almost got beat up the other night. he has been here since thursday night bc he had business in md and then is off monday for my birthday. so thursday night we went for a walk with the puppy. we were walking and holding hands and he turns to me and says...." i have a question to ask you...." i was thinking omg this is it! think again. he was asking me about my bday preset if i wanted to keep it or return it and take the money to put towards the little debt i have or towards my airline ticket to the keys in august. WHAT KIND OF QUESTION IS THAT! needless to say it didnt dong on him till he saw the russian come out. he was like oh s****! i wont be returning his gift i know that. he bought it for me. i hardly ever return a gift. maybe exchange for a different size or color or if i have double.but thats it. so no ring. and amberly i think youre going to loose the bet. he isnt proposing for my bday. oh well. but yet this weekend we are buying funiture for our yet to be bought house. my moms friend peggy is getting rid of a china closet and serving buffee thing. we got both pieces for $300.00 and a dining room table for free. you might be saying thats alot but its mahogany which is really expensive. then tomorrow we are heading over tatyana's house to look at a sleeper sofa, a chair, and a king size bed with a box spring and matress. now where to store all this stuff. hopefully the basement for min of 3months. of course that is all based if i get a job.....
yes you heard me. so i got my pay check on wednesday (via mail since she couldnt put it in the bind on tuesday to come to my office) and its only for 80hrs. yea ok. when i was hired i was told that take 30min lunches bc there isnt enough coverage to cover an hour for me bc everyone else is part time. ok so for the first two weeks i took 30mins lunches which made it 85hrs total for the pay check. 5hrs ot. nope. so when i called her to tell her i want my 5hrs ot paid she told me no. excuse me! she then proceed to tell me that im spost to take hour lunchs. ok got that a few days ago from someone who wasnt my manager who you told to tell me. (which btw why is that. why was i told by someone else who was told by you! arent you man enough to tell me shit. you are a manager after all) so i said ok since i found that out i have been taking lunches but i wasnt before hence the 5hrs ot. well then she said that if i had read my hand book...wait you mean you gave me 2wks after i started! after the pay period was over! that hand book! that i would know full time employees are spost to take lunches. ok again hows that possible. the only way that is if i eat at 11am! and that would be a no. she continued to argue with me and i said are you paying me or not. she said no. so i went to the dr i work for and told him. and said i cant take this anymore i quit. i started out the conversation talking to one personality and ended it after talking to three more! WTF! he said he understood and couldnt believe i have lasted this long after the other things she has done to me. he wanted to pay me and i said no bc it wasnt his job to that. shes the payroll mananger and the manager she needs to step up and pay me. so i told him i wouldnt be back on friday. he said that him and three of the other drs were having a meeting with her that day to cut her from stuff. which i then in turn laughed. i said ive delt with someone like her before. she has her hands in to much stuff to cut her totally and shes the type who will never let it go. good luck. he then asked me to email her and call her and also to cc the other drs in the practice my notice and why i was quiting to show how pysco she is. sure thing! so i did and had him read it and he approved. i said if you get rid of her totally or go out on your own give me a call and i would come back.
last saturday i had an interview in bethesda and was spost to have a follow up on friday. i had emailed pysco that i needed to leave early friday (yesterday) a few days before hand saying i forgot i had a dr appointment. she said no and wanted to know what it was for. NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS! so the interviewer was nice enough to come in saturday (today) for 15mins and to interview me. great. well after i quit on thursday i called ellie (the interviewer) and told her i had just quit the job and the reason. she couldnt believe it. i went in yesterday for the interview and got to meet the front desk manager. great. we talked and really connected. ellie said she had to call my references (which i hope she got a hold of) and run it past the drs. she said she would call me by sunday night. gosh i hope i get this job. they seem so mature! she told me about how they wouldnt not pay me for over time. that no its not really in their budget but i would get comp time. fine by me. and how they reward people that stand out. great. it takes me 50mins with no traffic from my house and would take 25 from robbies. so ill be staying in va most of the time then. i just want to get into a mature real job and get settled and start house hunting again. im ready to start my life.
anywho have to run and get food. we are having pizza tonight! yay!

WHAT KIND OF QUESTION IS THAT! needless to say it didnt dong on him till he saw the russian come out. he was like oh s****! i wont be returning his gift i know that. he bought it for me. i hardly ever return a gift. maybe exchange for a different size or color or if i have double.but thats it. so no ring. and amberly i think youre going to loose the bet. he isnt proposing for my bday. oh well. but yet this weekend we are buying funiture for our yet to be bought house. my moms friend peggy is getting rid of a china closet and serving buffee thing. we got both pieces for $300.00 and a dining room table for free. you might be saying thats alot but its mahogany which is really expensive. then tomorrow we are heading over tatyana's house to look at a sleeper sofa, a chair, and a king size bed with a box spring and matress. now where to store all this stuff. hopefully the basement for min of 3months. of course that is all based if i get a job.....
yes you heard me. so i got my pay check on wednesday (via mail since she couldnt put it in the bind on tuesday to come to my office) and its only for 80hrs. yea ok. when i was hired i was told that take 30min lunches bc there isnt enough coverage to cover an hour for me bc everyone else is part time. ok so for the first two weeks i took 30mins lunches which made it 85hrs total for the pay check. 5hrs ot. nope. so when i called her to tell her i want my 5hrs ot paid she told me no. excuse me! she then proceed to tell me that im spost to take hour lunchs. ok got that a few days ago from someone who wasnt my manager who you told to tell me. (which btw why is that. why was i told by someone else who was told by you! arent you man enough to tell me shit. you are a manager after all) so i said ok since i found that out i have been taking lunches but i wasnt before hence the 5hrs ot. well then she said that if i had read my hand book...wait you mean you gave me 2wks after i started! after the pay period was over! that hand book! that i would know full time employees are spost to take lunches. ok again hows that possible. the only way that is if i eat at 11am! and that would be a no. she continued to argue with me and i said are you paying me or not. she said no. so i went to the dr i work for and told him. and said i cant take this anymore i quit. i started out the conversation talking to one personality and ended it after talking to three more! WTF! he said he understood and couldnt believe i have lasted this long after the other things she has done to me. he wanted to pay me and i said no bc it wasnt his job to that. shes the payroll mananger and the manager she needs to step up and pay me. so i told him i wouldnt be back on friday. he said that him and three of the other drs were having a meeting with her that day to cut her from stuff. which i then in turn laughed. i said ive delt with someone like her before. she has her hands in to much stuff to cut her totally and shes the type who will never let it go. good luck. he then asked me to email her and call her and also to cc the other drs in the practice my notice and why i was quiting to show how pysco she is. sure thing! so i did and had him read it and he approved. i said if you get rid of her totally or go out on your own give me a call and i would come back.
last saturday i had an interview in bethesda and was spost to have a follow up on friday. i had emailed pysco that i needed to leave early friday (yesterday) a few days before hand saying i forgot i had a dr appointment. she said no and wanted to know what it was for. NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS! so the interviewer was nice enough to come in saturday (today) for 15mins and to interview me. great. well after i quit on thursday i called ellie (the interviewer) and told her i had just quit the job and the reason. she couldnt believe it. i went in yesterday for the interview and got to meet the front desk manager. great. we talked and really connected. ellie said she had to call my references (which i hope she got a hold of) and run it past the drs. she said she would call me by sunday night. gosh i hope i get this job. they seem so mature! she told me about how they wouldnt not pay me for over time. that no its not really in their budget but i would get comp time. fine by me. and how they reward people that stand out. great. it takes me 50mins with no traffic from my house and would take 25 from robbies. so ill be staying in va most of the time then. i just want to get into a mature real job and get settled and start house hunting again. im ready to start my life.
anywho have to run and get food. we are having pizza tonight! yay!

who ever thought an episode of friends could happen to me???
hello friends!
well this past thursday night an episode of friends actually happened to me! for those who are true "Friends" serious freaks like me will know what im about to explain...
there an episode of the serious "The One Where They're Up All Night"...this is when everyone in the cast cant get to sleep. well Phoebe has a problem with her smoke detector. it keeps going off and she cant get it to stop. she takes the battery out, disconnects the wires, and even distroys it. but it keeps beeping. she finally dumps it down the garbage slide and it ends up coming back to her door by the fire fighters who were called. they tell her to hit the "reset" button on the alarm to make it stop beeping. needless to say that doesnt work bc she distroyed it. basically the thing drives her insane. and it wont stop beeping.
so now heres my version of it: so im asleep thursdaynight/friday morning, and in my dream i keep hearing some beeping noise. so i try in my dream to turn it off. but it keeps going off. so i thought in my very sleepy state that its my alarm clock and i hit and it still hear the beep. so i thought my cell phone was dieing and so i open it up and see its fully charged. at this point chase is up and whinning that noise is hurting his ears. so i get out of bed and go near my door and it was louder outside of it. open it up to hear the smoke alarm just beeping. GREAT! ITS 3:48AM! so i get a chair out of the bathroom (its one of those old peoples chairs that my grandmother uses) and put under the damn thing to climb up and take it apart. at this point my mother comes out of her room dazed about whats going on. so i pull the thing down and and look for the battery...its not there! my mother then informs me that its an electrical one. great! so i look for the said reset button on it. remembering my training from "friends" of course. there isnt any. ok now what. so my mom getts up there while i go get a can of air from down stairs. at this point chase is now barking and my brother has to put his two sense in it. great! so we spray it with air bc its probably dirty. doesnt work. damn thing is still beeping. ok so finally my mom detatches it from all the wires in the world. THE DAMN THING IS STILL BEEPING! WTF! ok now my mom is laughing, chase is barking, and my grandmother is bitching bc puppy is barking. my mother is seriously holding the thing in her had detached from electricity!!!!! ugh! she thinks this is funny however and no im not amused at all. in the plug in the wall is our CO2 detecter. so my mom thinks ok lets see if thats the beeping also. she unplugs it and there is beautiful silience!!! i then of course have to let puppy out side and take him back to bed. i got back to sleep at 545am and my alarm went off at 635am!!! needless to say i was in a lovely mood to go to middle school. (thats what i call this place now. .esp when i need a babysitter)
so that was my real live version of an episode of friends! needless to say i stayed in va for the weekend! lol where i can get piece and quiet to a point.
on a note about that. theres a guy at robbie's job who at times he cant stand. well actually nobody can. lol so anywho this guy has a gf all the way in findland. great! he sees her about every six months. she either comes here or he goes over there. so she is coming here in may for 4 months. the guy still lives at home and has decided to get an short term lease on an apartment. well robbie not realy thinking things all the way through decides to tell the other guy about a special that our apartment complex is having. when robbie refers a friend or family memmber to the complex and they sign a lease then robbie getts $100.00!!!! so robbie tells this guy about it. and the guy signed a 6month lease. so now hes going to move in to the apartment complex. well this place has about 7 different buildings. so friday the guy tells robbie he got his apartment address. robbie and him will be sharing a bed room wall! thats right. the guys bedroom wall where is bed goes up against is the same one our bed goes up against! ISNT THAT NICE! they will be living there for about 4 months! LOL I LOVE IT! kevin (one of my partners in crime against robbie) is having a field day about this. so is other people in robbies work! ive never met this guy and have no intentions to bc of all the bs that he has put robbie through. hes an idiot and doesnt know how to do anything correctly that relates to IT. so this should be intresting.
i had a job interview in bethesda, md yesterday. its for a pain managment specialist. so hopefully i will get that. that means probably living most of the week down in VA. which isnt sitting to well with my mom. but if it means more the 12.00 an hour and mature non-physco people great! im all for it. i have no problaby leaving middle school. as of right now im still unsure if i will get paid on wednesday or at all this week. people get paid wednesday but my direct deposit wont go in this time. so i could get a real check on friday or saturday in the mail that is delivered to my house. score! but then again might not be for another two weeks. since the physco is also incharge of payroll. how she got that job i have no idea. whatever. i have no intentions of staying there at all. im scared to death she could turn on me like a rabbid dog. seriously.
anywho have to get cleaned up. one of robbies friends is staying over tonight and tomorrow since hes driving back from ohio and lives in VA beach. and i get to finally meet the famous dave!!!!

i cant believe i work for hopkins AGAIN!
hello friends!!!
well i got a job...and its with another hopkins kind of place!!!!!! YEPPIE THE YOU KNOW WHAT SKIPPY! so i started last tuesday and thought i would meet with the woman who hired me to get my new hire paper work started...seeing how i thought that was normal to do. ummm nope. she was sick. ok fine. understandable.....wednesday...thursday...friday...no marsha. mmmmk....is there anyone else who can send me the paper work...nope. so the other office is calling and wondering who i am. mmmk...weird....guess they didnt know that they hired pam's replacment (shes the one training me bc shes moving to NC). so friday i was there with out pam (her day off) and had two of the other part timers there to help me. well they decided that they were to busy to help me on the phones. so lisa told me to answer the phones but then put them on hold so that she could take care of the patient. so i answered the phone "baltimore heart this erin can you hold please?". well then lisa would pick up the phone and not identify herself. get what im saying? so yesterday this marsha person calls me at 530pm (mind you they dont give over time, and i wasnt on the clock and i was home and she called me on my cell phone using my minutes!) telling me that a patient called saying that i was rude to her and that i had an attitude. ok thats weird bc i didnt talk to any patients on friday! so then marsha kept going on and on about how i need to be more considerate to patients and blah blah blah....ok so i agreed and then tried to tell her that i didnt talk to any patients. and explained to her what lisa had told me to do on friday. yea she wasnt hearing any of that. she continued to talk to me like a 3yr old child when you repremend them for doing something bad. ok fine whatever. so she said she was going to come up to the office today. fine whatever.
so i get to the office today and told pam that marsha called me and what she said. she was like well if it was that bad why didnt she call or come up either friday or yesterday (monday) during the day! so we are waiting and finally marsha calls and pam talks to her and then lisa. well they ask marsha which patient was upset and marsha says "well she doesnt remember when i talked to her today about what happened or who the girl she talked to was." WTF! thats weird. why would you talk to the patient again when you already talked to her on friday. so pam and lisa tell me and then think that marsha was just creating drama and then backed down when i went off on her on monday night. appearntly she likes to do that. try to create drama and then back off when it doesnt go her way! im sorry how old are we? so she said she would be up tomorrow wednesday. needless to say we arent holding our breath. its pams last day tomorrow and we doubt marsha will be there bc she and pam had it out about pams last day. lord have mercy! so now marsha is sending up two ladies from liberty road to basically babysit me. even through pam said im doing great. the real office manager will hopefully be back in the office in april, and appearnetly things will get better. but the question is can i wait till then? oh and heres another kicker....the dumbass DOES THE PAYROLL! great! god only knows how my pay check will turn out since i dont have a time card and she hasnt asked for my time nor have i filled out any tax forms. and dont forget people down in liberty road HR dont know that i exsist.how can they when i never filled out new hire paper work!

job update....
hey everyone!!!
well as many of you know, i got a call on sunday night....being offered a job!!!! its in westminster, md at a cardiologist. i would be the only full time person and would basically run the office. which is what i kind of wanted. heres the down part. i have a week to learn everything. the girl who's place im taking is leaving next wednesday to move to NC. great! and their system is old as dirt! meaning you dont just drag and drop stuff like im use to you...it uses all the F keys. you know the ones no-one has used since the 90s! and of course its all different lingo then ob, and doctors, and their scheduales. so it will take time for me to learn. on fridays ill be there by myself for about 2-3hrs. great! and i was told thats when its usually dead. score! i like to be busy. my hours are 8am-5pm mon-fri. it is in westminster meaning i can see amberly for lunch bc i get an hour which will be great from time to time. however to get to the apartment i wont be getting there till 730-8pm on a friday night due to traffic in frederick. so friday nights in va will be a waste basically. oh well. from what im thinking hopefully this is only temperary till i find a job in va if robbie pops the question. which is what i wanted in the begining of this job search. as soon as i forced to quit hopkins, i started looking in va. and md was my second choice. but as robbie says we will make due with what we have. if we have to live on the boarder for a while thats fine. im just so nervous...
min is doing good. ive spent time with her. actually thats where i was when i got the job offer. lol i hopefully will be seeing her thursday and then again on sat or sunday with robbie. marissa is so excited to see her uncle robbie! she has gotten so big! i would post pictures but i took them with robbies camera and dont have a card reader with me to upload them!
it snowed in MD!!!!!!!!! chase was in love with it! he went running out yesterday in it and didnt come back for 45mins. of course i went out and took pictures of it. hes still playing in it today when i got home from work. which of course my mom said he was upset about when i left this morning. hes had me home for 3wks all to himself between interviews and va interviews. and he knows im always back with in two hours. well today it was longer. but i was greated with kisses and hugs and waggs when i rolled in at 515 tonight. so hopefully he will get back into the retine after a few weeks. plus the fact we wont be in VA till the last weekend in March due to activities up here and min being home. so at least i wont be leaving him to much till he getts adjusted.
it will be nice to get a paycheck again (which wont happen till 2wks from tomorrow) since i lost the fight with hopkins for unemployment. i can still apeal but having to take off from a new job where im the main person and i just started to fight them isnt worth it in my opion. its ok. because from what ive heard carma is biting them all in the ass right now. they are cleaning house. which is great! meaning managers are taking a 5%pay cut, no new hires, no raises for 18-24months, and they are going to start letting people go! lord let them ones who screwed me be the first! there are times i wish i could be a fly on the wall to see how they are couping. since when i was in germany for two weeks no one wanted to rescheduale my patients, check perscription line, scan documents for my docs or my patients, and gave me attitude when i did return. ummm that trip was planned 4months in advance! whatever!
ok have to go find food to eat during the week since im running low on cash!

well its the end of febuary and im still jobless. but hopefully by the begining of march ill have a job. i had three interviews this past week that went pretty well. one person told me i was the front runner for the job but she still had a interview on tuesday. the only thing with that one is the money. she doesnt think she can get me 13.00 per hour. the second one has called all my references and spent at least 30mins with eachone. one reference told me that she seemed very intrested in me and said she liked me alot. the third one is a pest control company (oh btw the first one was medical billing. the second was a cardiology place) which isnt something im that thrilled about i want to stay in medical. however its 8minutes away from my house and they are willing to pay or be close to what im asking for. needless to say nothing in va. i still have head hunter there and now in md. robbie and i have discussed house hunting once i get a job on the va/md border. the one place i inteviewed at in the begining which everyone thought i would get never called me back. and to top it off, they are still looking according to my md head hunter. which is weird. and they havent even called her back. whatever.
so anywho, minhee and marissa are down in baltimore as of this past wednesday. she wasnt spost to be down till monday. well really not at all this year. however that changed when her dads mother took a turn for the worse. she was moved to hospice and the family was told she wasnt going to make it till that monday when she had her orginal flight. so she came home wedensday. her father also came in that day from atlanta. everyone was able to get there and see her. she was already going down hill. well on thursday min, marissa, dad, mom, and i were at the super walmart. mins dad was in the truck not feeling well, her mom had to run and get something before we checked out and min, me, and the baby were together. min's cousin called and the look on her face told me her grandmother passed. i was glad that she got here in time to see her at least. the viewing was lastnight and the funeral is today. minhee will be here till my bday. which she actually leaves on that day. im glad shes here and marissa has grown up this past year! what till you see pictures. we have some plans which can be adjusted if i get a job.
amberlys little leo turned 4 this month!!!!!! wow! he and mirissa are now 4yrs old!!!! I CANT BELIEVE IT!!!! im so excited that hoepfully one day ill have this joy that all my friends are having with their children.
so when robbie and i started dating, he talked me into getting a facebook page. ok i already have myspace so what would i need a facebook page for? well im glad he did. minhee and i have only kept intouch with eachother since graduation. well cyrstal was also around but she made her own bed against us. so we dont talk to her anymore. anywho, with this facebook page thing i have found several people who i did like in highschool and are able to get back in touch with them. its awsome to see who has gotten married, collge, have kids, moved, etc. i have had a few people who have tried to friend me who i know right well in highschool had left a big scare on me or on minhee. people say that you need to forgive and forget, however when someone cutts you that deeply, you cant. i have even told people at the old job thing that not to double cross me. that if you are going to be my friend, then you need to do it all the time. not when its covience to you or helps you, but all the time! ive learned what friends that are true friends. amberly, minhee, kiki, robbie.
germany family update: well everyone is doing well. dad and petra have had alot of snow. and petra says the dogs want spring to come. we are planning to go back in september of 2010. so we are excited to see everyone! the aunt and uncle are doing well and have gotten back from kind of like a retreat kind of thing. its like a cleansing kind of thing they do over there.
robbie and i are doing good. we are spending less and working harder on getting me a job. he keeps telling me that ill find something and after that we can take the next step which is deciding on where to buy the house. we are also starting to plan a vacation. granted we are heading to luray for memorial day weekend to see my friends. but we are also planning to go to either myrtle beach, virgina beach, or the outter banks. we are now going with some friends. john, stephanie, johns daughter, brenda, and hopefully another couple that robbie knows. so if we get enough people and decide where to go i can start hunting for either a condo or a house to rent!!!! robbie has been keeping up my spirits as much as he can when he can. i did hit a low point this past monday. i didnt get out of bed let alone get out of my yoga pants and tee shirt. and slept all day. i know i can be hard headed at times and depressing to be around. hopefully again this will all change this week. one thing that has gotten me determined to find a job and continue to fight is hopkins winning with me not getting unemployment. as usual they lied about stuff. and i was going to give up but mom and robbie told me to keep appealing as much as i can just to waste time and money on hopkins end! which i intend to do. i will never work for hopkins ever again. and everyone said that with having them and seton keough on my resume i wouldnt have a problem getting a job. that isnt true. yes hopkins looks impressive but if the manager doesnt give you a good review, then youre SOL.
anywho. got to go make chili in the crockpot for dinner tonight. and i have robbie hooked on survivor now. we have it ON DEMAND on our fios. :) pictures to come from min and marissa to be home!

general update
hey everyone
well i have been spending alot of time in va. which is great! i have had a few interviews here and in baltimore. i had an interview today with a head hunter type of person. shes got a client that wants an experienced receptionist in ob/gyn. which of course you would think would be me. but shes got two more interviews. needless to say my mom isnt thrilled to deat about me moving in with robbie before we are engaged. but something is telling me that soon as i get a new job things are going to be moving fast. we are going to look for a two bedroom apartment if i get this job. that is until we get a house thing. meaning ill be in md on weekends. ive thought about bringing chase down and see how he would do in an apartment setting but being a hound and use to having a yard it might be hard for him. and robbie knows i want to get a house ASAP so i can bring him down here. just everything is up in the air right now. and it kind of urks me. for those who know me i have to have a plan for everything at all times! even when we went to germany i had plans for us! at least where we were going to go and what times!
tomorrow im back in bmore. not by choice. for one i had a job interview in the city at 9am. however lovely unemployment wants to have the conference call at that time! wtf! so with the past holiday i couldnt resceduale the apointment in time. so i had to call the interviewer and see if i could get a later time. luckly i did but they didnt sound thrilled about it. the move i think about it the more i realize i rather just count my losses and move to VA. anywho the call tomorrow is bc hopkins said i voulintaryly resigned. what ever. i was forced to resign. i was told hopkins policy is that either you are fired or you resign. if you are fired you cant use them as a reference (meaning you cant put them on your resume) and then its false information on a resume. being forced to resign however means i can use them as a reference, and possibly come back (of course who would want to?). but you wont be able to get unemployment. we shall see. i plan to tell them i was forced to resign and when all this shit went down i was told i said something i didnt say and no one from HR would talk to me about the slander. which is bs. i think wanda will be involved tomorrow to go against me and for hopkins. if thats the case and she is trying to save her own job i will not be speaking to her ever again. she has used me to much to save her own ass. plus the fact that i have covered for her. and this is the thanks i get?
saturday is going to be busy for us in md. i have a gyn appointment. which is always lovely. then run home to pick robbie up and be at a memorial service for former employee from the highschool. she passed away the saturday after the stuff went down from brain cancer. shes in a better place now. ill be attending but will be going in right when the service starts and sitting in the back. and then leaving right when it ends. robbie is going with me to make sure i dont punch someone in the face if for some reason someone tries to talk to me. guess its the russian in me with the temper and everything.
i know ive been wrapped up in my own life right now and havent really asked my friends how their lives are. i know for one person amberly i should be more of a friend to her right now. and im sorry for that. i know shes trying hard to help her father and raise her own family. and all ive been doing is bitching about my life to her. and the same with min. shes going through some stress in her life and all i call about is bitching about my life. and if ive done that anyone else please let me know. i do aplogize for all this. ive done it to robbie also. hes been so supportive of me in the past few weeks. well actually since bs has started in the highschool. and unfort at times my pride hurts him. i dont like excepting money or charity or anything from other people. either him, min, amber, or my mom. and i know its hurting them for it. im the one who wants to get married and everything to this man and i guess ill have to learn eventually that some times the other person needs to carry more of the burden in the relationship. i guess im just use to being that person thanks to my Xs. hopefully however i wont need to borrow money or anything from someone and hat ill be able to get a job!!! but i love him so much and slowly im letting guard down and letting him help me.
ok got to go meet him and some of his coworkers for lunch!

vday posting
hey everyone
sorry i havent written in a while. i lost my job about a week ago. long story. but its for the best. im less stressed now and looking on to much better things. hopkins won and i hope they all suffer from it. i was the most dependable person there. wanda was sad to see me go. but i dont think she had any choice in the matter. whatever. shes trying to save her own butt in that place and she wont be able to soon. whatever. so i have had a few interviews in both md and va. ive had one interview with cheasapeak urology last week and actually have another interview on monday with the site manager. they have called both wanda and three of my other references. which everyone tells me is a good thing. ill be happy to be working again. but was hoping to get something in va since im planning to move down here in the very near future. but i need a job. esp with it being vday and i couldnt even afford a card for robbie. and i know what you all will say and everything but the man bought me a wii for vday! i felt so bad. he wanted to know bc i was saving for one when i was forced to quit. so as soon as i get money coming in again ill going to take him to something he's never been to.
so thats what we have been doing since thursday. playing wii. we went out to dinner lastnight to beat the crowed from tonight. it was really nice to go out to dinner together and just be romantic. im so lucky to have a wonderful man like him. he has been so supportive with everything and has been trying to help me any way he can with me being jobless. :) i just keep thinking what i would do if i didnt have him in my life.
ok have to run out to great falls with robbie, stef, and mo! :) ill write more later!
